In other words, the issues which are most likely to galvanize CARP supporters in their political preferences are those which deal with issues of honour and diligence. When the government (or the opposition) is seen to dissemble, it suffers. These are common values to our members, many of whom have lived through a depression and a world war, and to whom eternal values are important.

If the rest of the voting populace of Canada could display as much concern for important political values as our members do, and if they could also vote as often as our members do, Canada would be a better-governed country.
