YPT is Canada’s largest and oldest professional theatre for young audiences. Over the past 57 years, YPT has staged many of the most important plays that form the canon of work for youth in our country.
The 2023.24 Season features a 7-show playbill for toddlers to teens. Highlights include the holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, and the world premiere of Truth, based on the Governor General’s Award-winning book “The Gospel Truth”. Eric Peterson (CTV’s Corner Gas) stars in the world premiere of The Fixing Girl, a heartfelt story of a young girl and her relationship with her grandfather., and coming to terms with loss and grief.
