Burlington Mayor Cam Jackson will be the lead speaker at the CARP Halton Chapter Membership Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the Burlington Seniors’ Centre.

Mayor Jackson is encouraged by the new directions of CARP Halton Chapter and welcomes the opportunity to address focused questions from our members on a large array of local and regional issues. We are hoping for a good exchange of information and views at a general Q+A session.

We are very fortunate to have Habitat for Humanity as our meeting sponsor, community display and subsequent speaker. Tanya McMurdo will provide a wonderful outline of the many valuable efforts to create volunteer based social housing on a Global scale and how YOU can get involved.
