Our recent partner, the Lakeshore Rotary Club in Burlington is asking for our help for volunteers to assist and enjoy the largest RIBFEST ever in Burlington!

BURLINGTON RIBFEST – CANADA’S LARGEST RIBFEST LABOUR DAY WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 4-7, 2009

During the event basically we need volunteers at; a) two beer tents

b) two beer kiosks with these there is a lot more to do that just pouring beer.like; moving kegs & maintenance, setup of other drinks + ticket sales

c) volunteer coordination (recieve, direct, feed, thank 100s of volunteers)

d) coordinating the entertainers (two stages)

e) VIP area (120 p special guests area)

f) recycling garbage (65 tons we are a zero waste event)

Current services we pay for; a) before event setup b) during event cleanup c) after event takedown Let me know ASAP if you may be interested in helping out but for the first timers it would probably need to be a learning experience.

We can always use more help but most of our volunteers keep coming back so it must be a positive experience. It would be great to get most of our new Rotary members from people who have worked at Ribfest.
