LOCAL MEETINGS
CALL FOR HELP
Over the past year member input has shown that there is a desire to have local meetings with the Region of Halton. This would mean having meetings in Burlington, Oakville, Halton Hills and Milton. All these communities have a strong CARP membership base and showed a desire for local meetings. The Board of Halton Chapter believes that this is a good idea BUT needs help from each community. To be able to have an effective system of local meetings on a routine basis volunteers are needed from each community to work together to set up the venue, to arrange the meeting rooms, to arrange refreshments etc. The Board is very pleased to help work with the local volunteers and assist in getting speakers, promotion and updating members on the activities of CARP both locally and nationally. BUT volunteers are needed to make these meetings happen. If you are interested in becoming involved in this way please contact the Halton Chapter at:
