It’s fun, it’s fabulous – and it’s free! From live theatre and fashion to ballroom dancing to rock and roll, Toronto’s ZoomerShow has something for everyone.

Zoom, Zoom! It’s a lifestyle show that’s all about Zoomers, featuring over 200 exhibitors covering everything from health and fitness to investing and retirement. And on top of all that, you can enjoy some great entertainment! Among other performances, you’ll be able to take in scenes from the lavish London production of The Sound of Music, sing along with your favourite Beatle’s songs, find out about the latest Zoomer fashion in the fashion show, and enjoy professional ballroom dancing.

MAIN STAGE ENTERTAINMENT

— Andrew Lloyd Webber, David Ian and David Mirvish present the lavish hit London farewell performance of THE SOUND of MUSIC.

— David Mirvish is delighted to present the new commercial production of this year’s Fringe festival hit MY MOTHER’S JEWISH LESBIAN WICCAN WEDDING.

— Stage West Super Star Tribute Artists present ABBA & BEE GEES TRIBUTE.

— Stage West Super Star Tribute Artists present TOM JONES & ROB STEWART TRIBUTE.

— Halloween tribute to MICHAEL JACKSON’S “THRILLER”.

— L’ELEGANCE, experienced dancesport performance group, will perform a routine of 5 ballroom dances.

— Join BEATLEMANIAC’S Burak Ceylan as Ringo Starr, Greg Weeks as George Harrison, Mark Staycer as John Lennon and Ian Garcia as Paul McCartney in a tribute to the Beatles.

— Experience the second annual ZOOMER FASHION SHOW showcasing Canada’s leading designers.

— Australian Singing Sensation and songwriter GREGG ARTHUR, an accomplished Crooner PREMIERE CANADIAN APPEARANCE will deliver a cool and elegant selection of classic tunes true to the music.

— The UPTOWN SWING BAND is a Toronto based 10-piece “Little Big Band” whose repertoire celebrates the best swing music from three decades. Come jump and jive with them on the stage!

And be sure to stop by the Twinings Tea Garden & Last Taboo Art Exhibit. In partnership with Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts, ZoomerShow 2009 presents The Last Taboo, an Art Exhibition curated by Moses Znaimer. The theme of the exhibition centers on the intriguing phenomenon of World Aging as explored by a diversity of artists through a variety of artistic media.
