Billings Estate National Historic Site

Please join us on Wednesday August 25th at Billings Estate National Historic Site.

Located at 2100 Cabot St in Ottawa’s south end (near Riverside Campus of the Ottawa Hospital.

RSVP is required by Mon Aug 23- thank you . 11- 3pm , 4 different activities available

$10 for members, $12 for non members at the door,

Free parking and tea and scone provided. You may bring your own lunch to eat on the grounds. Attendees are divided into 4 groups for simultaneous activities- you can partake in as many as you like. #1- Tour of the Estate- Tour one of the original settlement homes of the area. Our knowledgeable tour guides will lead you through the Billings homestead and give you a behind the scenes architectural tour of some areas that are not generally open to the public!

#2- Victorian Bingo: Kick back and relax with a lively game of bingo- in the Victorian style. Join us for this traditional game and see if you can get your hands on a prize!

#3- Herbs and Their Uses: Lamira Dow Billings was famous for her ‘medicinal receipts’. Join us to learn about the herbs that she would have grown on site and their various uses. Try your hand at creating and taste-testing your own delicious herbal tea.

#4 Victorian Tea Room: Relax and enjoy the grounds while you snack on our famous scones and Billings Blend Tea.
