2010 CARP Conference on Aging & Longevity

Billed as a mini-ideaCity, this one-day conference hosted by ZoomerMedia Ltd. founder Moses Znaimer presents some of the leading minds and practitioners in the fields of healthy aging, wellness, longevity and radical life extension. (All speakers are given a 17-minute time limit.)

Fellows of the Gerontological Society of America Natalia and Leonid Gavrilov are a husband-and-wife team who are working to unravel the secrets of human longevity. They work at the Center on Aging of the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago and are the authors of The Biology of Life Span.

Dr. William E. Reichman is an expert in geriatric mental health and President and CEO of Torontos Baycrest, one of the worlds premier academic health sciences centres focused on aging and brain function. In 2008, Baycrest received $20 million from the Ontario government and local donors to create a ground-breaking Centre for Brain Fitness. William believes that we have an opportunity to make major brain health progress in the 21st century, similar to cardiovascular health advances made in the 20th.
