Sexual Assault is against the law and can occur at any age. Without permission, any form of sexual contact is considered assault. In many cases the person who commits the assault is not a stranger but someone who is well known to the victim. As with any form of abuse, sexual assault can be extremely difficult to talk about. In addition sexual assault survivors often do not know where to start when they need help.
