On November 3rd, 2010 a group of enthusiastic people met together to discuss the merits of starting a chapter of CARP in the Ajax and Pickering Ontario area. The unanimous opinion was ‘YES’ and with that, Chapter 20 of CARP, the Ajax Pickering Chapter was born.

On hand for the inaugural meeting were (pictured back row) Jey Ratnasingam, Colin Mackenzie, Bruce Earley, Randy Filinski, Terry Bruce, (front row) Anna Lindsay, Jan Filinski, Steve Campbell and Keith Ward.

A core executive consisting of Steve Campbell as Chairman, Randy Filinski as Co-Chair/Communications, Jey Ratnasingam as Director of Finance and Keith Ward as Director at Large were nominated and confirmed by all present.
