Halton Chapter – Community Meeting – January 25th

Halton Chapter will be holding our next Community Meeting on Tuesday January 25th at the Burlington Seniors Centre, 2285 New St., (Adjacent to Library and Arena)

Doors open at 6:30pm — Meeting from 7:00 to 9:00pm

Overview of Evening:

Our Chair Tom Carrothers will welcome us all back and open the evening with his usual story. That will be followed up by a quick update on the status of Chapter and National initiatives.

Our second speaker is a member of the Burlington Fire department training organization and she will be talking about fire and safety issues especially for our older residents. Join in and be sure to bring your questions.

There will be a short break before our final speaker of the evening, Doug Madden of Seniors in Charge. Doug is going to introduce us to an advocacy project for our consideration to adopt as a CARP Halton Chapter initiative. Bring your thinking caps for this one as we are looking for input.

Tom will close the meeting at around 9:00pm
