On Feb 1st the Soroptimist International Club of White Rock held their successful annual Girl’s Night Out Purse Auction at the U-Lounge. Two of your Executive Board members attended as did over a hundred other women.

There were over 50 purses auctioned off with thousands of dollars raised for the local Soroptimist program called ReSTART which the club runs, whereby they provide kits of new household items to women who are leaving transition houses and starting their lives over again.

Soroptimist International of White Rock is a local chapter of a world-wide organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in their own community and around the world.
