Your White Rock/Surrey Chapter Chair, Jack Mar and Board Member, Marc Burchell met this week with strong CARP supporter White Rock Mayor, Catherine Ferguson. Catherine introduced Jack and Marc to Liberal leader hopeful and MLA for Surrey Cloverdale, Kevin Falcon.

Mr. Falcon indicated his support for CARP’s work on senior issues and would like to speak to our members at an upcoming event. He is particularly interested in the Centre for Active Living slated to open soon at Centennial Park, White Rock.

Mayor Ferguson has invited the CARP Board to an advance tour of the facility. Details for the tour will be forthcoming…..
