CARP received a lovely letter for former Minister of State for Seniors, Diane Ablonczy. She is now Minister of Foreign Affairs and writes:

“I want to sincerely thank you for sharing your passion and expertise with me while I was Minister of State for Seniors and assure you that your role in the field is valued and incredibly important. Your help greatly assisted me in representing Canada’s seniors as efficiently as possible and I know that Minister Fantino will appreciate your time and ideas as much as I did for that reason.”

CARP wishes Minister Ablonczy all the best in her new office. We trust Foreign Affairs will be well served if she pursues this work with the same energy and dedication as she did the seniors portfolio.
