CARP Election Debate

Greetings to everyone interested in seniors’ issues during this election campaign. Representatives of three major political parties will meet in Toronto on Wed April 13 to debate issues which affect Canada’s seniors.

These issues include financial security, pension and healthcare reform and caregivers’ rights. 70% of Canadians 65 and over vote, more than any other demographic. Let’s hear what these candidates have to say.

Taking part are Hon. Bob Rae, Liberal candidate, Toronto Centre; Wayne Marston, NDP candidate, Hamilton-Stoney Creek, NDP critc for Seniors and Pensions; Bernard Trottier, Conservative candidate for Etobicoke-Lakeshore. Moderator will be CARP’s VP for Advocacy, Susan Eng, and the event will be hosted by Libby Znaimer.
