Dear CARP Members:

I am so grateful to have this opportunity to share our positions and platform with you. CARP does excellent work and their high quality research and advocacy has informed much of our policy. Thank you for supporting CARP.

The Green Party is the only party in Canada that offers a full and comprehensive vision for our future. We do not wait until elections to unveil what we believe in. Vision Green, our vision for Canada in 2020, is available on our website 365 days a year.

We have a comprehensive vision for seniors in Canada in that document. Green Party policies seek to create age-friendly communities, include a major boost to pensions, increase seniors’ income support and seek to end pension discrimination through the Superannuation Acts. We have strong policies to protect and enhance our health care system. Greens have serious, realistic and sensible positions. We believe it’s time to turn over a new leaf in Canada and in Canadian politics, and I think you will like what you read.
