We are making good progress in planning for our 2010/2011 Season Ending Celebrations. Please plan to join us on June 21st at the Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Road (just North of the QEW) where we have reserved the Cafeteria from 6.00pm onwards. The Cafeteria has a very pleasant open plan setting which will allow ample opportunity to meet and socialize with everyone and to meet your Chapter volunteers.

We are planning for both a Social and an informative evening. In addition to Ross Mayot, Vice President Community Development for CARP, we are also pleased to announce that Sheldon Wolfson, Commissioner of Social and Community Services for Halton Region will also be speaking to us. The Social and Community Services Department provides programs and services that enhance the independence and quality of life of Halton residents. Social and Community Services works progressively and collaboratively with the community to provide residents with the social support services they need. Services for Seniors, such as Long Term Care requirements, are included in these responsibilities

Entertainment will be provided by Aidan Purnell. Aidan’s style of music and large repertoire of songs will provide a pleasant easy listening backdrop as you enjoy a light tasty buffet. We are in the process of arranging Sponsors who will have displays of their products and services available throughout the evening. You may also win one of our door prizes.
