WELCOME TO THE CARP METRO MONTREAL-WEST CHAPTER (#37)

INVITATION

You are invited to join us on 20 SEPT from 7-9 PM for the launch of the first Quebec Chapter of CARP (the Canadian Association of Retired Persons). The media will be present to cover this important event. Snacks and refreshments will be served.

LOCATION:

Baie D’Urfé Curling Club, 63 Churchill Road, Baie D’Urfé

DIRECTIONS:

Highway 20 to Morgan Road; drive South down to Lakeshore Road; Turn right onto Lakeshore and drive past the Red Barn until the stop sign; Turn right onto Churchill and you will see the Curling Club parking lot.

CARP is a national, non-partisan, non-profit organization with over 360,000 members (age 45 and over) committed to advocating for a New Vision of Aging for Canada, promoting social change that will bring financial security, equitable access to health care and freedom from discrimination. CARP seeks to ensure that the marketplace serves the needs and expectations of Canadians as they age and provides value-added benefits, products and services to our members. Through a network of chapters across Canada, CARP is dedicated to building a sense of community and shared values among our members in support of CARP’s mission.

Our Chapter is made up of CARP members who volunteer their time to put their talent, knowledge and sense of community spirit to work in our area. Our chapter facilitates communication with our national office, and helps keep members informed and involved. We provide opportunities for members to develop ideas and activities of interest to our community, support CARP’s advocacy, and meet new people. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member of CARP to attend.
