Welcome to CARP PEI (Chapter 21): A New Vision of Aging for Canada

Our chapter is comprised of CARP members who volunteer our time, talents and sense of community spirit to advance CARP’s mission and keep our members informed of CARP’s advocacy, benefits and community activities. Through our volunteer board and committees, our chapter provides opportunities for members to get involved in the social issues that affect Canadians as we age and to strengthen CARP’s voice and influence locally, regionally and nationally.

We invite CARP members from across PEI to join us.  You will meet new people, have fun and do good things for our communities. We have a number of goals this year, and would be delighted to have you join us.

Please note – if you are currently a CARP member, or would like to become one, there are no additional fees for joining our local chapter.  In fact, you can support our chapter by simply including our chapter number “21” on the membership for when you become a new member or renew your membership.  (Online, please use the drop down box to indicate our chapter “PEI 21”.) By including our chapter number “21”, whether you register online, over the telephone or on a printed membership form, a portion of your CARP membership fee will be allocated to our chapter so we can continue to be a valued resource in our community.

If you would like more information, please fell free to contact me by e-mail at

I hope you will join us and help make our community a better place to live for people of all ages.

Sincerely,

Casey McGannon, Gerontologist, Chair
