The following is quoted from the Town of Milton website under the Milton Seniors Activity Centre.

 “The Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre is a full-service recreational facility for adults 55+ featuring a wide variety of registered and drop-in programs, clubs, guest speakers and more. From trips and tours, to special events and activities, socializing abounds for Milton’s active group of seniors!”

Their  Mission Statement as quoted in the March/April News and Views newsletter is:

“The Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre is a Town of Milton facility whose purpose is to offer Older Adults the opportunity to attain the highest possible standard of life. In pursuit of this goal, the Centre provides quality programs which promote physical, mental, social and emotional well-being”.

The News and Views newsletter is published six times per year. The March/April 2012 issue is now available. It contains lots of information about the Centre and the many programs and activities that are organized on behalf of seniors.

They are locate at 500 Childs Drive in Milton and can be contacted at 905 875 1681. More information can also be found on the Town of Milton website at www.milton.ca  Look under “Play’ then click on “Facilities” and you will find the Seniors Activity Centre.
