Volunteer(s) Needed to Organise a CPR training course for CARP Halton Chapter.

Article posted March 18, 2012

At recent Chapter meetings we have talked about the importance of CPR training and how this can help save a life. A number of our members have expressed an interest in receiving this training either for the first time or as a refresher course. In order to accomplish this on behalf of Halton Chapter we need help.

Is there anyone out there among our members who would be willing to organise a CPR training course on behalf of our Chapter? Is there anyone willing to step forward and volunteer to take this on?

Among the most common organisations who run CPR courses are the Red Cross, the St John’s Ambulance and Halton EMS. There are also a number of other companies throughout our Region who offer these courses. In addition to courses they already have scheduled most of them are also willing to put on a separate course for a specific group of people. They do charge for this typically on a per person basis.

If anyone would be willing to organise this on behalf of our Chapter please let us know. Please send us an email to [email protected] or call us at 905 319 7345. You can also speak to us at one of our meetings. We will help by ensuring that all of our members know about the event and would help with arranging a suitable venue.

We just need someone to take the lead on this. Please consider this as a way of supporting your Chapter. We look forward to hearing from you.
