Background on the Edmonton Chapter of CARP

Welcome to the Edmonton Chapter of CARP National:

Membership in the Edmonton Chapter, offers you the opportunity to hear in greater detail the benefits of CARP, and learn more about issues of interest to seniors in Edmonton and Alberta, as well as support CARP National Advocacy campaigns from a local                                             Alberta perspective.

Chapter activities include Information Sessions on topics associated with Health, Finances, Personal Well-being and Legislation Changes affecting the members. These General Meetings are held four times per year in March, May, September and November. Additional sessions are organized when pertinent issues arise that need special information and discussion. We look forward to also promoting information fairs as well as Active Lifestyle and Lifelong Learning opportunities within the community. CARP Edmonton is in contact with other socially responsible organizations in our area to create a broader awareness of projects and programs among our members. When it is appropriate, we join these organizations in mutual promotion of common interests.

We invite all members of CARP National living in Edmonton and surrounding areas to join us. CARP National members in Northern Alberta are invited to contact us so we can explore ways to facilitate your involvement in topics of interest to the broader Alberta regional area. Membership offers opportunities to meet new people, have fun and do good things for your community.

To join, request more information or share your ideas for the chapter, please contact us by email at  [email protected]  or phone at 780-450-4802.

We look forward to welcoming you as a member of the CARP Edmonton Chapter.
