The Alzheimer Society of Hamilton nand Halton are hosting their “Walk for Memories” at 4 locations in January – 4 times the fun!
Please consider registering and collecting pledges at one of their locations. They have some great incentive prizes too. You may also wish to volunteer to help out at one of these locations. They will make sure there is plenty of time to walk as well….
McMaster University – David Braley Athletic Centre Indoor Track
Walk / Run Saturday, January 19th 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Milton Mall Walk Sunday, January 20th 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Lime Ridge Mall Walk Sunday, January 27th 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Burlington Mall Walk Sunday, January 27th 9:00 am – 11:00 am
You can register online at www.walkformemories.ca The website allows you to register as an individual or organize a team. You can create your own personal page and recruit pledges from family and friends online. It’s easy and fun!
Who are you walking for? At the walk create a tribute to the person you are walking for…bring stories to post on the memory boards at the event.
