CARP CHAPTER 37 ANNOUNCES EVENTS
MERCK CANADA to sponsor February seminar
The Board of Directors of CARP Montreal Chapter 37 have been hard at work putting together a package of interesting and timely seminars for CARP members.
These events are open to CARP Chapter 37 members, at no cost. Events are planned for February, March, April, and still in the works is a May event. CARP is an organization focused on a “New Vision of Aging”, representing almost 400,000 members of Canada’s aging population through lobbying efforts at the federal, provincial, and local levels on issues of importance. In addition, membership in CARP brings discounts and specials on goods and services from many partner companies. Local Chapter members also benefit from locally-arranged seminars and events.
FEBRUARY EVENT – Chapter 37
Sponsored by MERCK Canada, CARP Chapter 37 will present a seminar on vaccines for adults. Immunization is not just for kids! An expert in immunization will make a presentation on vaccines recommended for adults, explain why, and then answer questions from participants.

In cooperation with the SQ and FADOQ, CARP Chapter 37 will be presenting a workshop about how seniors can protect themselves against Fraud. March is Anti-Fraud Month.
APRIL 2013
In cooperation with the Lester B. Pearson School Board, CARP Chapter 37 will be presenting a workshop on Technology – Your I-Pad and you. Learn how to get the most out of an I-Pad and other “smart” technologies. Also, learn how to find, install, and use some of the best APPS.
