The Mississauga Halton Community Care Access Centre’s (CCAC) free e-newsletter, Health Advisor, provides readers with reliable and relevant information about health care in Canada.  Easily accessible online, the newsletter includes stories, helpful tips, fact sheets and health care updates individuals need to remain healthy or get care to remain at home safely.

Special features of each issue include Ask Caroline, a forum where the Mississauga Halton CCAC CEO, Caroline Brereton, RN, MBA, answers readers’ questions and also includes feature stories, updates about the Mississauga Halton CCAC and its services, and links to helpful websites and resources.

The Mississauga Halton CCAC coordinates in-home and community support services, information and referral, and long-term care placement. It is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care through the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network (MH LHIN) and serves a population of more than one-million residents in the communities of South Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Halton Hills and Milton.
