GENERAL MEETING- ELECTION OF EXECUTIVE

Last year the fund raising committee of the Brampton Ontario Senior Games met with CARP National to discuss starting a CARP Chapter in Brampton. We thought it was a natural outcome from the senior games and we knew that there were a lot of folks who were members of CARP locally. CARP agreed to give us a charter and the senior games fundraising committee morphed into the Brampton CARP Steering Committee. The Steering Committee was setup to prepare for an elected executive and a series of committees that would represent the interests of Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville members.

After the successful May 7th inaugural meeting , we are now ready to elect our first executive and our first meeting will be SEPTEMBER 25th at the BRAMPTON SOCCER CENTRE starting at 7pm. Our guest speaker will be Mario Sergio the Minister Responsible for Senior Affairs Ontario. We will start with the election of officers and then Minister Sergio will address the audience followed by a short question and answer session.
