Safe at Home

On Wednesday, January 22nd at 1:30pm we are hosting a meeting for the membership at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #261, 12326 Lanoue, Tecumseh across the street from St. Anne’s Parish.

The theme of the meeting is “Safe at Home”.  We have speakers from the OPP, Tecumseh Fire & Rescue, and SafeGuard Security.  Shawna Coulter from the Tecumseh detachment of the OPP will discuss fraud scams and how to ensure you’re not a victim of this all too frequent crime.  We’ll also learn from Tecumseh Fire & Rescue how to keep our homes safe from fire.  Fire is particularly a problem during the winter months when people use various types of heating devices to keep warm.  Frank Fazio, the President of SafeGuard Security will teach us about the value of a home security service.  At the conclusion of each presentation you’ll get the opportunity to ask the speakers any questions you may have concerning their topic.

It is sure to be an enlightening afternoon.  So come on out to the Tecumseh Legion across from St. Anne’s Parish on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30pm.  You’ll hear three great presentations; ask questions of the speakers; and get a chance to socialize with other members of the Chapter.  Who knows, you might make a new friend on Wednesday afternoon.  We’ll have free coffee and cookies available so no one goes hungry and we’ll be sure and get you home in time for dinner.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Tecumseh Legion on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30pm.
