The program pairs up older adults who want to learn more about computers with teen volunteers who can assist with one on one mentoring. The program is offered through one or two hour appointments, focusing on the specific needs of the older adult.

Coping with Hearing Loss

A Journey to Tristan da Cunha

The most isolated community in the world is found on the island of Tristan da Cunha, located smack in the middle of the south Atlantic Ocean. The librarys own Craig Rowland spent 23 days on Tristan last autumn among the 259 residents. Craig will give a photo presentation showing what life is like on Tristan, where your nearest neighbour is 2429 km away.
