April 28th, 2014: The Haliburton Highlands CARP Chapter #54, in the heart of Ontario’s cottage country hosted CARP President Moses Znaimer at their second Annual General Meeting this past Sunday at the Pinestone Resort.

A sold out room of over 180 guests joined for a luncheon that featured local radio personality, (morning host on Canoe FM) Mike Jaycock as the event Emcee.

Moses Znaimer presented an entertaining video that explained how he came to CARP, the vision behind his Zoomer Media enterprise and how the two work hand in hand.  Mr. Znaimer also took questions from the audience and stayed on after the meeting to meet the members one on one.

Chapter Chair, Bob Stinson announced plans for 2014, including a bus trip to Toronto to take in the annual ZoomerShow, with dinner at the Famous People Players theatre.

Funds raised from the luncheon were put toward the local community cares – meals on wheels program for seniors in the region.
