The fourth annual seniors expo will again be held at the Almonte Community Centre on Thursday, September 11, running from 9 AM to 3 PM. The theme this year will be Healthy Active Seniors. Last year a donation from proceeds of the event was made to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County.

What can visitors expect to find at the Seniors Expo?  There will be over 80 exhibits of everything of interest to seniors or nearly seniors, and their families from health services to recreation opportunities, from housing to support services, assistive devices to seniors clubs. A small lunch will be available at a reasonable cost. This is an opportunity to meet members of the CARP Lanark County Chapter executive and discuss issues important to you.
