Peterborough chapter is still trying

We hope that you have enjoyed summer and that you are now ready to help in building Peterborough Chapter. CARP can only succeed in its objectives of Advocacy, Benefits, and Community if it has our full support at the Chapter level and at the individual level where numbers of paid-up memberships provide the organization with the numbers that it needs.

During the summer we have made enquiries on your behalf regarding meeting days, meeting times, and meeting locales. We had hoped to have this all finalized in time for our first meeting. However, we have some good prospects opening up and we hope to get back to you soon with some very good news. Watch for news here  and in emails if you have listed an email address with your membership request. Since our chapter has no funds available it is impossible for us to contact everybody unless we can get a generous sponsor to foot the mailing bill, and some willing hands to help preparing the mailing. If you know anybody who might be a potential ZOOMER please invite them to attend our meetings.

Our next meeting will again be held at Applewood Retirement Residence, 1500 Lansdowne Street West, at 7:30 PM, Thursday October 16th, 2014.  See map here. We welcome Scott Tromley of Tromley Computer Services as our guest speaker to our Meeting. He assists users who are having problems using their computer in regard to software programs. Feel free to bring your questions.

We thank the management at Applewood for making that excellent room available to us as a public service at no charge.

If we have any success in our new meeting information you will be first in line to know what has happened.

Meetings are scheduled for the following dates. Oct 16, and November 2014. I will try to obtain a list of confirmed dates for the first months of 2015 and post them here
