On October 29 2014, over 50 Chapter 25 members met at the Edelweiss Tavern to discuss the re-launch of Chapter 25 which now includes Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. CARP National attended the meeting to provide information about resources and to answer questions.
Following the meeting, an interim Board of Directors was formed from volunteer expressions of interest. The Board has met several times to:
- Review and clarify Chapter policies and procedures
- Re-establish financial and communication structures
- Plan the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Update local membership information
- Initiate the search for nominations for Board positions
The goal of the interim Board is to have all operational aspects in place by the AGM so that the Chapter can resume full activity.
