Jack provided us with a workbook and presented a summary of his book about Democracy, followed by questions from the audience.The main points included How to Build Democracy, the Importance of a Free Press, the concept of Citizens Assemblies, Electoral Reform, Parliamentary Reform, Controlling the Political Parties, and Direct Democracy.  With a Federal Election this year, these are all important concepts to consider. We greatly appreciate Jack’s thoughts and efforts to remind us of and stimulate our thinking about these democratic principles.
