Every year on October 1, Canadians pay tribute to seniors—the men and women who have helped make our country what it is today and who continue to enrich our lives. Come out to our flag raising ceremony to celebrate the contributions of seniors to making our community a great place to live.

At 4:30 p.m., the Mayor will read a special proclamation in Council Chambers declaring the week of September 28-October 4 as Seniors Week in the city of St. John’s.

All Carp members and the community are invited to participate in both of these events on September 28.
