The topic is ‘Getting Your Ducks in A Row’ refers to your End-of-Life planning. Find out how to get organized now so that your loved-ones are not left trying to figure out how to close all the business of your life after you have passed.

The Guest Speaker is David Feldstein of Assurant Canada, the largest underwriter of prepaid funerals/burial properties in Canada. Their Purple Shield program is a program offering what funeral homes provide if you were to go to them directly.  Their clientele is any single person over the age of 40 or married couples.

    David Feldstein was born and raised in Vancouver.  He is a UBC Business graduate who ran Stork Craft, a successful family business. He later ventured into other import/export businesses.  When semi-retired he founded the Canada Purple Shield program and eventually added Legal Shield. Aside from sailing and golf, David enjoys meeting people and offering products and services that he values for himself.

It’s a fact that less than 30% of us investigate this task and only about 10% actually pre-plan it.  Save a lot of grief and problems when someone passes.  Find out about the do’s and don’ts of funeral pre-planning for yourself or for your loved ones.  Come to learn, meet new people and enjoy a coffee with friends.  Bring along a new potential CARP member and we’ll have a special gift for you if they join.
