LibbyZnaimer-400x300

Toronto: September, 2016- On behalf of CARP President, Moses Znaimer, Vice President of Advocacy, Wanda Morris and our membership at large, I am writing to invite you to join us for a panel discussion on the importance of influenza immunization and how seniors can be better protected in Canada. This critical issue is one that affects our most vulnerable members of society.

Please join us on the morning of Thursday, September 22nd, at 9:30 AM, for a 60-minute for a panel discussion at the ZoomerMedia studio in Toronto, (70 Jefferson Ave.) to examine the impact and burden of influenza on our aging population. The panel will also include a broader discussion on the role of immunization as a simple way to promote healthy aging amongst older Canadians as part of a larger national seniors strategy. Our experts will offer a lively discourse on the ramifications of influenza on our healthcare system as well as  and implications for healthy aging. The panel will be live streamed on CARP and ZoomerMedia websites and distributed to CARP members as part of a flu awareness campaign.
