Scarborough Chapter held its AGM last Sunday to elect a new Chair and hear Wanda Morris deliver a keynote speech. Gary Butler initiated and ran the chapter for the past 5 years. Membership has grown under his leadership. As Gary steps aside, a new Chair, Renate Crizzle, takes his place.
For years Renate led advocacy activities and most notably, she led the charge to cut hospital parking prices by half, for long term paying visitors. This price reduction comes into effect in Ontario on Oct 1st, also National Seniors Day.
