2018 an important year wherein ‘seniors’ will continue to make a difference via the ballot box: seniors represent the largest segment of the voting population!

Vote – Thursday June 7 in Ontario’s provincial election – let your candidate know what is important to you: financial security through expanded secure pensions, improved health care services and standards, accessible affordable housing…….

June is “Seniors Month” – ‘Save-the-dates’:
– Thursday June 14 , noon to 3pm, attend your Chapter AGM at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594, 4030 Howard Ave.
– Saturday and Sunday June 9 & 10 visit our CARP stand at the Windsor 50+ Info Expo, 8787 McHugh, WFCU Centre.
– Monday and Tuesday, June 11 and 12, visit our CARP stand at the Active Aging and Wellness Show, 3295 Meloche, Libro Credit Union Centre, Amherstburg.

Your June 14 Chapter AGM: learn how your membership in Canada’s largest seniors association makes a difference through CARP advocacy to all levels of government, in providing you a plethora of discounted service benefits, and in your Chapter’s programs.

The June 14 AGM will elect a Chapter Executive and introduce you to our seven current Executive member who each will have an info table promoting their diverse professional and volunteer activities:

Sushil Jain about the South Asian Centre and with
Larry Duffield about Canterbury ElderCollege and Windsor International Relations, Diversity, and Seniors Advisory Committees,

Astri McCurdy about Anderson Funeral Home and Dignity Memorial,
Adam Budrewicz about Comfort Keepers: Keeping the Comforts of Home……

Updates at the June 14 AGM will also be provided on our ambitiously successful 2017 AFC Seniors Summit grant project, our three workshops with Windsor Essex Compassion Care Community, and our membership telephone surveys with University of Windsor students.
