Several of your White Rock/Surrey Executive Board members attended a pub night last week as the guests of MLA Gordon Hogg. Mr. Hogg is supporting George Abbott’s campaign for the Liberal leadership of British Columbia.

It was a great opportunity for your Board members to meet several local politicians, present and past as well as members of the local business community.

Mr. Hogg is an active CARP member and Mr. Abbott was encouraged to listen to the concerns of Zoomers in White Rock and Surrey, especially in view of the fact his rivals appear to be going for the youth vote. If he hadn’t heard of CARP before, Mr. Abbott certainly knows who we are now!
