Moses Znaimer Visited Moncton for CARP Chapter Opening

Moses Znaimer, President of CARP, brought his New Vision of Aging for Canada to Moncton, Monday September 21st, 2009.

This was a chance for current Moncton area CARP members, and those wanting to find out more about CARP and Zoomer, to meet with Moncton CARP Chapter board members, Louise Gilbert and Wayne and Barb Harrigan.

Ross Mayot, CARP VP of Community Development was on hand to answer questions and describe the many benefits of having a local Chapter and of CARP membership in general.

At that time there were 35 CARP chapters across Canada and these chapters are helping to shape this New Vision of Aging. This was an opportunity to meet others and enjoy light refreshments. At 6 pm, everyone was invited to hear one of Canada’s most influential thinkers, Moses Znaimer.

This meeting was held at the Moncton Lions Seniors Centre, 473 St. George St., Moncton.

Everyone was welcome to this free event!
