ZoomerShow and CARP Conference
Are you an organized, enthusiastic and creative person? Are you interested in meeting dynamic people, stimulating your mind as well as being part of one of the most innovative and inspiring events in Toronto? We are looking for you!
The Zoomer team is currently recruiting professional and passionate individuals for two major fall events. The CARP Conference held on October 29, 2009 and the ZoomerShow held on October 31 and November 1, 2009.
The CARP Conference on A New Vision of Aging is a one-day conference featuring some of the world’s brightest minds speaking on important health, wellness and longevity topics that affect today’s Zoomers (Baby Boomers with Zip!)
What: CARP Conference
When: Thursday, October 29th, 2009 (7:30am to 8:30pm)
Where: Grand Banking Hall of the Suites at One King West
The ZoomerShow 2009
The ZoomerShow is Toronto’s first consumer tradeshow dedicated to the demographic traditionally known as “50plus”. This exciting event will feature over 350 exhibitors, entertainment and free gift bags and give-aways. This second annual event is expected to draw close to 20,000 attendees.
When: Saturday and Sunday, October 31st and November 1st, 2009 (7:30am to 6:30pm)
Where: Direct Energy Centre
Volunteers will be asked to assist with various activities including: onsite registration, ushering, gift bag assembly, information services, pre-event set-up, post-event tear down, and general duties. Each day will be divided in 6-7 hours work shifts. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the dynamic “zoomer” community which has transformed itself into the single most influential consumer group in the world.
If you are interested in one or both of these opportunities, please email Angela Holzer at [email protected] by Tuesday, September 15th, 2009. List which event(s) you are interested in. We’ll be pleased to send you additional information.
We thank you in advance for your time, effort and consideration. Without volunteers, events like these would not be possible.
