Come Out to Walk with CARP members in Richmond, BC
The nextWALK RICHMOND date is Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 7:00 PM.
The walking location is the Horseshoe Slough which is a Dog-Friendly Walk. We will meet-up at 6:45 PM at Woodwards Landing, one block West of Number 5 Road (off Dyke Road at South end of No. 5).
This is a lovely secluded walk along a rural, tree-lined trail that crosses a small bridge over the Historic Horseshoe Slough on the Fraser’s South Arm.
Make sure you bring a hat, some water and your favorite walking shoes. We all walk at our own pace. It involves 10 minutes of warm-up, 40 minutes of walking and 10 minutes of cool-down.
Of course there will be experienced people front and back to make sure everyone enjoys the experience.
All are welcome, including friends and family of members.
