Mental health tip sheet for caregivers during COVID-19

The Mental Health Commission of Canada has released a new tip sheet for informal caregivers, offering helpful suggestions on how to support their loved ones (and themselves) during the pandemic.

With the winter months fast approaching alongside climbing cases of COVID-19, Canada’s more than 8 million caregivers are facing a unique set of obstacles in caring for both themselves and their loved ones—maintaining positive mental health on both sides of the equation has never been more critical.

Being an unpaid caregiver is hard at the best of times, let alone during a pandemic.

If you’re struggling, just know that you’re not alone.
